Clinics and practices
A CRM for clinics where the appointment confirms itself
Booking by WhatsApp, confirming the day before, letting people know when something changes. That is half of a front desk’s work, and it is the half that can run itself.

What changes
-
Fewer no-shows, without calling anyone
The reminder goes out on WhatsApp the day before and the patient confirms by replying. The front desk stops spending the morning calling one by one, and a slot that frees up can be offered in time.
-
Everyone’s calendar on one screen
Each practitioner with their own calendar, synced with the one they already use in Google or Microsoft. What gets blocked there takes the slot here, so the same gap never gets booked twice.
-
Whoever answers the phone sees the same thing
The call, the WhatsApp and the email from the same patient all sit on one record. No asking the same thing twice, no leafing through a notebook for what was said last week.
What people usually ask
Is this a medical records system?
No, and it is worth saying plainly: meruma is not a medical records system and does not replace the clinical software you use. It handles conversations, appointments and reminders. Clinical data belongs in the system built for it.
What happens with patient data?
The data belongs to your organization, travels and is stored encrypted, and each person sees only what their role allows. Even so, the advice is not to write health information into conversations beyond what is strictly needed: what is not stored cannot leak.
Can I message many patients at once?
Yes, with the templates Meta approves for WhatsApp, or by email. Good for a change of opening hours or a check-up reminder. Not good — and not wise — for unsolicited advertising: it is the fastest way to get your number reported.
