An assistant that answers when you are away
It answers from what it knows about your business, says up front that it is an assistant, and hands the conversation to a person the moment it is needed. It is not a menu of options under a new name.

What changes
-
It learns from your documents
You load your price list, your terms, your FAQ, and it answers from that. When something is not in what you gave it, it does not invent it: it says it does not know and calls someone.
-
It says it is an assistant
It says so at the start of the conversation, with wording you can change. It is not only courtesy: in several countries telling someone they are talking to a machine is already required, and finding out late leaves the business looking worse than saying it would have.
-
It does things, not only chat
It can fill a field on the record, move a deal along, book an appointment or send a payment link. And when the conversation gets serious, it alerts the right person with everything said in plain view.
What people usually ask
Where do its answers come from?
From what you give it: documents, texts, FAQs. Before answering it searches that material and replies from what it found, not from what the model thinks it remembers of the internet.
What does the AI cost?
Bots use your own OpenAI key: you see the usage in your account and you pay it, with no markup from us. meruma charges for its plan and nothing else.
Can I switch it off at certain hours?
Yes. The usual setup is for it to answer outside business hours and at weekends, with your team replying during office hours. You can also limit it to certain channels or certain conversations.
