meruma vs Kommo

meruma and Kommo, compared with the prices in hand

Both are conversational CRMs built around WhatsApp and priced per user. They are fairly alike; the differences that matter are how you pay, what limits each plan carries and what comes included.

Where Kommo is the better bet

Kommo has been at this for years and it shows in two concrete things: a marketplace of integrations and templates far larger than ours, and a partner community that will implement it for you in almost any country. If you need to connect an uncommon tool, chances are it already exists there and not yet in meruma.

When meruma is the better fit

  • You want to try it on real conversations before paying anything.
  • Paying six months upfront does not fit your cash flow.
  • Besides chatting you need to call, sign and publish pages without adding more tools.

When Kommo is the better fit

  • You depend on an uncommon integration that already exists in their marketplace.
  • You would rather a local partner set it all up for you.

What people usually ask

Can I bring my data over from Kommo?

Contacts and their fields import from a file, and the conversation history lives in WhatsApp: connect the same number and conversations carry on where they were for the customer. What does not migrate in one click are automations, because each platform builds them differently.

Do both use the official WhatsApp API?

Yes. Both work on Meta’s official API, so the number is properly registered and there is no risk of being blocked for using an unauthorized tool. That is not where the difference lies.
